the mast is frosted with rime

沙滩开始变凉

The sands grow cold

浪花碎成细碎的盐粒

waves shatter into fine salt crystals

只有码头的缆绳还记得

Only the dock ropes remember

夏日渔船出航的汽笛

the summer steamship whistles

滨海步道旁

Along the seaside promenade

早行人的衣角

an early walker's coat

沾满海雾与菊香

is damp with sea mist and chrysanthemum

寒露过后

After Cold Dew

成山头最先染上晨光

Chengshantong is first touched by dawn

而千里岩的灯塔

while the lighthouse on Qianli Rock

整夜擦拭着

polishes all night long

被潮声打湿的星光

the starlight damp with tide sounds
