　　今日 我们迎来了立冬

　　Today, we welcome Lidong,

　　这个气温渐次下探 万物归于宁静的时节

　　the time when temperatures gradually drop, and all things return to tranquility,

　　田间的农事活动缓缓落下帷幕

　　as farming activities in the fields slowly come to an end.

　　历经大半年的辛劳

　　After more than half a year of hard work,

　　秋收的硕果已被细心晾晒 妥善储藏

　　the fruits of the autumn harvest have been carefully dried and properly stored.

　　人们将自己紧紧包裹 将这一季的温暖都悉数收藏

　　People, too, wrapping themselves tightly, collecting all the warmth of the season.

　　“藏”与“敛” 便成了立冬时节最贴切的注脚

　　"Storing" and "gathering" become the most fitting annotations of the Lidong season.

　　“藏” 是应对严冬的智慧之举

　　"Storing" is a wise act in response to the harsh winter.

　　“立冬起萝卜 小雪起白菜 ”

　　"Start storing radishes at Lidong, and cabbages at Xiaoxue."

　　立冬前后 家家户户忙着储存萝卜、白菜

　　Around Lidong, every household is busy storing radishes and cabbages,

　　更将新鲜的蔬菜腌制后窖藏

　　and even pickling fresh vegetables for cellar storage,

　　以备冬日餐桌之需

　　as a careful preparation for winter meals.

　　这是对生活的一份精心筹备

　　This is a meticulous preparation for life.

　　“敛” 则是舌尖上的温暖哲学

　　"Gathering" is the warm philosophy on the tip of the tongue.

　　“立冬补冬 补嘴空 ”

　　"Replenish in winter at Lidong, filling the emptiness of the mouth."

　　回溯至宋代 齐鲁大地便已有

　　Tracing back to the Song Dynasty, in the land of Qilu, there was already the custom of

　　农历十月初“置酒作暖炉会”的习俗

　　"placing wine and holding warm stove gatherings" in early October of the lunar calendar.

　　板栗的香甜、饺子的饱满、羊汤的醇厚

　　The sweetness of chestnuts, the fullness of dumplings, and the richness of lamb soup

　　皆是滋补身体的佳品

　　are all excellent for nourishing the body.

　　此时的饮食 无不以增添热量为要 抵御即将到来的凛冽寒冬

　　At this time, food is all about adding calories to fend off the imminent harsh winter.

　　当一切过冬的准备都已妥善安排

　　When all preparations for winter have been properly arranged,

　　在轮回的四季中 我们学会了收藏与珍惜

　　in this cycle of the four seasons, we learn to store and cherish,

　　更要照顾好自己 珍惜与身边重要之人的相伴时光

　　and we must take good care of ourselves and value the time spent with those important to us.
