7月1日至6日，来自山东省各地市15支球队300余名队员齐聚威海临港区参加省运会棒垒球项目决赛。

　　From July 1st to 6th，over 300 members of 15 teams from all over the province gathered in Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development District，attending the Baseball and Softball Finals of the 25th Games of Shandong Province.

　　比赛中，健儿们在高温烈日下挥洒汗水，挥棒！转身！击球！一连串动作潇潇洒洒，尽显棒垒少年飒爽英姿。快速地投球、智慧地判断、精确地出击、奋力地冲刺……来自全省各地市的棒垒少年们，在炎热的天气里为每一个得分拼尽全力。

　　Sweating in the hot sun, young players sparedno efforts in the competition.Swing! Turn around! Hit the ball! They swungthe bats fast while turning around in a swift manner,acting with wise judgement, hitting the balls with precision and sprinting without any hesitation……The boys from all over the province tried their best to score every point in this hot summer.

　　7月6日下午，第25届省运会棒垒球决赛落下帷幕，设在临港区的威海市棒、垒球队囊括两项冠军。

　　In the afternoon of July 6th，the baseball and softball finals of the 25th Games of Shandong Province came to a close.Weihai Baseball Team and Weihai Softball Team, which are based in Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development District, collected the Championships respectively.

　　近年来，威海临港区已连续举办40余场棒垒球知名品牌赛事，棒垒球赛事成为威海临港区一张亮丽的城市名片，威海临港区也成为中国棒垒球协会高水平后备人才和青训基地、全国软式棒垒球实验基地。

　　In recent years, the District has witnessed more than 40 renowned and branded baseball and softball competitions, which turns out to be a bright business card thereof. Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development Disrictis now a youth training base and high-caliber talent pool for the Chinese Baseball and Softball Association, as well as the National Tee-Ball Experiment Base.
