On the eve of Mid-Autumn Festival, Daniel, a young South African, went to the Golden Maidou Cultural Creative Center in Wendeng District, Weihai, Shandong Province, to learn how to make mooncakes from Lin Hong, a Chinese pastry chef here, to experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese festival culture, and to send mooncakes to his relatives in distant hometown to express his missing.
